Tioman Island, Pahang

Starting my first post with my 3 days 2 nights trip at Tioman Island. We choose to go on Sunday coz we're are free for these few days, office closed, brother and I was having school holiday also. Is difficult to find a day which everyone has same holiday.

Brief information on this tioman trip:

- overall we spent around RM600 for each person
(peak season is more expensive than usual, usually normal season they will only charge for RM450-RM500)
-RM600++ included 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, accommodation with double room 2 nights with air-con and heater.

We chose Salang as our travel destination, some reasons my mum take into consideration and that's why we choose Salang at the end. First, there's a number of good feedback on Salang based on their food, services and beauty of corals. Second, the famous of Ah Poh Tioman, our tour guide for this Tioman trip. (you can see his's photo in diving part) He's really caring, will make sure you have the enough food to eat and enjoy your trip in Tioman.

Before you plan to go Tioman, first thing you must think of which station you want to take the ship. There's two small port for you to choose, either depart from Mersing, Johor or Endau, Pahang. We choose Endao because it's more near to my house (Kuantan), we only took 2 hours to reach the Endau's port! If you're from Singapore/ Johor or Melaka, Mersing is better choose for you. For International visitors, you can actually take flight to reach Tioman which run by Berjaya airline. I'm not very sure with the actual fee of flight ticket, you can have a look on their website www.berjaya-air.com/packages.php
Be very sure with the time table of ship before you go! There's only 3 ship routes per day for Endau Port. Reach there a bit early, their ship wait for no one.

The ship we took to Tioman

It took us around one and half hours to reach Tioman, due to salang is final station they'll stop, it took us longer time to reach Salang, approximately 2 hours.

I took this photo when I was in the ship, so excited to see Tioman

Then we're reached!

That tour guide actually waiting us at the quay, helped us to carry our luggage, good service! After we settled down all the things, finally I can have my lunch T.T Sorry for not many photos uploaded because I didn't plan to blog my trip.

This photo was taken when I was having my lunch XD

After lunch, our first snorkeling in Tioman started! It took about 2 hours and just near with the beach. I actually more interested in tomorrow snorkeling session, first day snorkeling was basically teach you some basic knowledge about snorkeling and to test you whether you're fine with snorkeling or not. Some of our teammate cancelled the second snorkeling session, they're afraid with ocean.

After back from snorkeling, yeah! our dinner was ready! Afterwards, me and my family walked around Salang, it was a sweet moment where you can spend your time with your beloved one :)

Night view of restaurant (we settled all our meals here)

I'll advice you guys to walk around Salang, remember look around Salang's quay! You can see a lot of people are fishing and diving! and guess what?! You even can see the fishes using torchlight! so remember to bring torchlight :)  There's many restaurant operate at night, you can also try malaysia famous cuisine such as ROTI CANAI, TEH TARIK, NASI LEMAK or SEAFOOD BBQ.

Around 9.30pm, we went back to rest. Chit chat with family, no mobile connection, nobody can disturb you and this's the time you can spend your time with your family wholeheartedly.

Day 2:

Blazing sun, azure sea

My bro and dad, cute XD

Breakfast included:
Teh Tarik, typical american breakfast set with hot dog, toast, bean and egg.

Yeah! my long-waited session was coming! We went different small island and start snorkeling. Sometimes I'm wondering, how if I'm a fish, do whatever you want, no restriction from the world, can I just live with my way? Do whatever I want and can time just stop? without loosing anything anyone :)

Sorry, I already forgot which island I went to, but there's almost same, you can refer to tour company. The sea is clean, but many corals died, hope people can do something on this at least people can still visit Tioman in future.

Second snorkeling is also the last chance we out to sea by boat. But you still can snorkeling you own. But then, I joined an introduction scuba Diving course! Is cost only RM150, is around 2 hours. They won't bring you to deep area, just approximately 20m deep. MUST TRY! I haven't get my photos yet, so can't put it in my blog :(

Then again, we back to hotel, bath, eat, chitchat and sleep :) Just same like what we did in first day.

I got the certificate from my tour guide for completing my intro scuba diving course!

Our ship will arrive at 1pm, but remember to reach the quay 1 hour early, lucking our tour guide remind us if not we've to wait till night for the next ship's service.

Is time to say bye to Tioman, my parent was planing to come again next year as a company trip for their stuffs. I'm looking forward my Redang and Simpadan trip. So hope by next year I can manage to go either one of them :)

Places that I plan to go

So this's some places that I plan to go in future, actually quite a lot but no travel mate accompany :(
Good new to me! I just handed my passport lost application yesterday and hope I can get back my passport asap. I can't wait to get my passport because I need it badly to book my flight ticket to Taiwan!

Yay! I will be going Taiwan in Feb, 2014 Hope my first international trip's post can clearly written in my blog :))

Well,

1. Maldives

- I can't resist the charm of Maldives! It's simply amazing just like real heaven in the world. Turquoise's sea, white beach and numerous of corals and fishes. But Maldive trip cost very expensive, some may cost you more than RM8k just for a week trip. My parent can't afford to pay for every single member, I can just wait for my honeymoon with my prince XD sounds funny but yeah, I don't think I can go with my family and friends.

2. Seoul, South Korea

- Hmm, maybe this can be actualized coz the overall expenses still under my budget. I got a korea friend lives in korea. She can write madarin very well! but now she is one of cabin crew and I don't think she has enough time to travel with me :(

3. China

- I went to GuangZhou when I was 16, is quite memorable and Ii was shopping like crazy. Donno where and what I spent, my thousand RMB missing in one day. The food there is quite similar with M'sia's taste, not too spicy/ sweet or salty. The only thing that irritating me was some people there are not polite, they can just scold others on the street. HMMM... so my next plan will not go for city but rural area to experience their  local life.

4.  North Pole

- Polar bear and penguin are SUPER cute right?? I definitely will go there once in my life. There's totally difference with M'sia, sometime M'sia hot like hell :( I actually scare of cold, how am I going to survive in North Pole? This question will be replied by future's M.

Basically, these all are what I plan to go :) Hope I can go these all places at least once in my life.

About me :)

Hey everyone!
My new blog born! This is "N" blog that I created in my life, I was thinking to make a blog to record wherever I have been, just like a travel note for myself. Life is great, I can't remember when I started falling in love with travelling. But, one thing that I can felt strongly was I can really calm down myself, throw out everything on my mind when I was travelling.

Let me introduce myself to you guys first, my name is Madelyn, 20's, a business student and entrepreneur in Malaysia. I love sea, for no reason, like diving so much and have a great feeling when I saw a lot of fishes surrounding me.

I love travel! This's the reason why I created this blog. Hope you guys enjoy my blog.
